| so i was chillin at a homie's house flippin through channels, n i never really thought about the whole.. " anti-war " movement. I mean, i wish that we weren't in this war, because 2 very close friends of mine joined the army and one is currently in Iraq (bless your soul). i saw a picture on tv... someone held a sign that said: " fuck the troops ". i was upset? nah. i was fuckin pissed. People don't really understand... that freedom has a high price. a price of blood, death, horror, terror, pain, and not even the least... sacrifice. Freedom is achieved and obtained in this world through the sacrifice of soldiers. dont get me wrong, people against the war... i feel ya. people against the troops.... now what the fuck ever did they do to you? and... im sure u've met all of em right? people gotta see that yeah, not every one of em joins the army just thinking.. " yes. i get to serve my country and protect my fellow Americans... etc .etc etc". but on the real, upon signing up, u know u're gonnu get into some shit.
To be honest, i'm not into politics, but i am into common sense. common sense... don't diss on people with bigger balls then yourself just because you're protected by a government that worships freedom of speech. u reap what you sow... it is what it is.
Oh how brave and bold u motherfuckers are to parade around carrying signs that straight diss American soldiers... fuckin dumbasses don't see that if they were ta do that in a country not predominately influenced by Western ideals... lol u'd be fucked. lol it cracks me up how these protestors are so very very brave and powerful... and they dont see how igorant they are.

it's been awhile... oh yes it has.
so... with school... got a 3.5 this last Fall semester. YEE-FUCKIN HAW!!!!
now... my winter break is cut short... cuz i have winter class -___- 8AM-2PM... ouch.
well, shim just left last night to go back to the base in georgia, then he's off to iraq on the 13th.
shim, i fucking hate you for joining the army, but at the same time im really proud of you. I know that the army will be a good experience; u meet new people from all over, u experience different countries, i just wish it wasn't in iraq in this gdamn war. I've built so many memories with you, and just because you're off in the army it doesn't mean shit, cuz u're gonnu come back n we gonnu js pile new memories on top of the old ones. You needa pull ur psycho 3 AM "ey thomas... wannu drink?" bullshit again. lol... with me u n josh chillin on the driveway. damn u're insane. I need you ta fob out again... macgyver? cougar? hotel...sweat...? l m a o. and those moments wen u slept over.... always on the wrong fucking days. lol... that one night my parents found out i smoked... then that other night my sister got busted for drinkin. Good ol NRB times n shit... u gotta remember all this stuff because this is what you're gonnu come back for. Ellis was very right... this isn't good-bye at all. it's a see-ya-later. gdammit a year is a fuckin long ass time... who knows... i might even lose weight by then. hahahaha
you taught me sumpin too.. iunno if u ever realized it. u showed me that i can't keep being undedicated to things, to give up on things so easily. I know that u get disappointed wen u find out that i give up on shit so quick, and i know it's only cuz you care. I thank you for that.
honestly man, i dunt think i ever told neone this, but now its out in the open. me tryin ta transfer and get better grades right now, a huge part of why i tried so hard this last fall semester was cuz of your ass. you motivate me ta try harder and make the best of what i have.
Shim, be safe out there. I know you have a dedication to your squad, but remember that the people here at home need you too. We didn't shed those tears for an act man, we're really gonnu miss ya.
